Who takes an LLM and why?
COURSES INCLUDE:
> Administrative Law: Overview and Current Developments [6 credits]
> Some Theoretical Perspectives on Public Law and Administration [3 credits]
> Administrative Law Remedies [3 credits]

You want to be part of the conversation and see the bigger picture when it comes to administrative law and how it’s evolving. Step back from your day-to-day routine to take the chance to examine and analyze contemporary legal issues relating to the delivery of public programs of regulatory and social benefit and became an authority on administrative law within your organization.

This LLM will allow you to explore current developments in the area of administrative law, theoretical perspectives on public administration, the law and application of judicial review principles, institutions and policy-making processes, and the liability of the Crown and other public bodies. You’ll be able to take what you learn in the classroom and apply it at work - it’s that practical.

This two-year, part-time degree requires completion of 36 credits obtained through coursework and a Major Research Paper, or coursework only. Your progress and performance are evaluated through papers, presentations and take-home assignments.

Videoconferencing is available for all courses in this specialization; attend class from your home or office with interactive video streaming that brings you into the classroom, and allows you to participate in discussions and view presentations in real-time.
Apply by October 15 2019.
Start in January 2020.

"As a government lawyer whose practice focuses on matters before administrative tribunals, Osgoode's Administrative LLM was, for me, the ultimate in continuing legal education. The faculty was composed of top professors, practitioners, judges, and policymakers. I highly recommend this program.
