Who takes an LLM and why?
Examine and analyze contemporary legal issues relating to the delivery of public programs and social benefits
Dive into issues of governance, learn to manage legal risks and understand the new realities of corporate regulation
Explore Canadian constitutional law and develop a deeper understanding of the evolving jurisprudence
Think critically about the pressing and challenging issues affecting the Canadian criminal justice system
Develop insights on policies, players, and stakeholders while examining social, political and environmental issues
Choose courses from multiple LLM specializations and craft your own unique specialization of study 
This two-year, part-time degree requires completion of 36 credits obtained through coursework and a Major Research Paper, or coursework only. Your progress and performance is evaluated through papers, presentations and take-home assignments.

Distance learning is available for  most courses for students located outside of the Greater Toronto Area; attend class from your home or office with interactive video streaming that brings you into the classroom, and allows you to participate in discussions and view presentations in real time.
Accepts new students every two years in the Fall term.
